The valve has its own width, length, position, and internal structure. It must fit the filling nozzle securely while allowing efficient bag placement and removal.

Buyers sometimes focus on body dimensions while treating the valve as a standard component. However, unsuitable valve dimensions can create leakage, torn sleeves, slow mounting, or bags falling from the nozzle.

Use the Product to Estimate Required Capacity

Bulk density is essential because it connects weight to volume. Lightweight powders need larger valve packaging bags than dense powders packed at the same weight.

Particle behavior must also be considered. Products that hold more air may require additional filling volume and better ventilation. Material temperature, fluidity, and settlement after filling can further change the final package profile.

A bag can look suitable immediately after discharge yet become too loose after the powder releases air. Conversely, insufficient body volume may leave the package tight and place continuous pressure on the valve.

Filled samples should be measured after settling. Check their length, width, thickness, corner shape, and valve closure. They should then be arranged on the intended pallet to assess interlocking and overhang.

Testing should also include normal drops and conveyor movement. Failure close to the valve may indicate unsuitable sizing rather than weak material.

Create a Controlled Dimensional Specification

A professional valve bag manufacturer should define nominal dimensions together with acceptable tolerances. This is important for repeat orders and automated filling lines.

Provide the product density, target weight, current bag sample, nozzle drawing, filling speed, pallet size, and closure requirement. These details allow the manufacturer to recommend both body and valve dimensions, prepare trial bags, and calculate a production quotation.
